Beau Kay is a queer, trans illustrator based on the Wirral. They are inspired by nature, vintage illustration styles, community, identity, the macabre, messages of solidarity, and zines.

@beaukay.illus is also a print maker who explores traditional print methods, like lino-block printing and screen printing as well as riso printing, a digital method of printing. They’ll be selling their illustration work on the day.

Over the years I’ve worked on a variety of projects, from character‑driven shorts to educational content- bringing Northern humour and personality into everything I create.

Emma Reynolds is an illustrator and author based in Manchester, UK.

She is currently working on two secret picture book projects and a comic.

Her anthology Drawn to Change The World: 16 Youth Climate Activists, 16 Artists, is a middle grade graphic novel with each activist biography illustrated by an acclaimed artist from around the world. Drawn’s awards include The Green Earth Book Award, Blueberry Honor, and Broken Frontier Award for ‘Best One-Shot Anthology’. Emma's author-illustrator debut picture book Amara and the Bats about bat conservation, peaceful protest and community action is a Nautilus winner, JLG Gold Standard, NSTA ‘Best in STEM’, and an Empathy Lab selection. Her books have garnered several starred reviews from Kirkus and SLG.

Alongside working on her books, Emma loves running interactive workshops and school visits for children and families, and also has over 6 years experience as a university illustration lecturer. She will happily talk about the power of visual literacy and how picture books and comics are for all ages anytime.

I'm an artist from Liverpool who has rediscovered my love for painting after being diagnosed with Hodgkin's Lymphoma in November 2019. I was halfway through my chemotherapy when the virus hit and changed all our lives. This is when I realised that my two children didn't own anything I had created so I wanted to create work they could be proud of.

I have been playing about with Glow in the dark paint and I love how it has a 2 phase aspect to it. While I'm painting I don't see the night time version until I turn out the lights so it's either a pleasant surprise or a total disaster but either way, I have loved the creativity that has gone into it.

I mainly use acrylic paints along with the glow in the dark paint but I'm experimenting with watercolour. I'm also playing around with different styles at the moment as I'm enjoying the challenge of stepping out of my comfort zone.

I'm Jess W Grace, 20 y/o and recently I graduated from University of Arts London on a Foundation Diploma and now re-locating to Liverpool to study Theatre Design at Liverpool Institute for Performing Art (LIPA).

Over the last couple of years my work has been featured in the St Georges Art Centre, Gravesend, UK and recently at the UAL foundation exhibition.

I am a comics artist, writer and character illustrator from West Yorkshire, England.
In May 2026 I graduated my Bachelors with First Honours studying Comics and Graphic Novels at Teesside University. I have also completed the 2025 Summer course studying comics at the Joe Kubert School in Madison, New Jersey.
I began working as a comics illustrator for hire in January 2025, and have since been published working alongside other writers 3 times, and in 2026 I have self-published twice. I’m a Comic Artist, Cartoonist, Illustrator and massive dork located in the North West of the UK living with two cats and my oddly cat-like partner. I specialise in sequential art, character design and visual storytelling. I’ve been active in the British Small Press Comics scene since 2017 and on comics for as long as I can remember!

I’m interested in work relating to emotions, mental health, disability, queerness and identity. As well as various geek related things.

I’ve had commission work from the NHS Southport & Ormskirk Trust and Spectrum Gaming.
